I recently read an email from a success journal I subscribe to detailing how organised religion promote poverty globaly. I have to say that I totally agree with this statement and other details of the email. It basically outlined that the catholic church was preaching that it is noble to be poor and that sacrifice and poverty will get you into heaven. This subliminal programing has been subconsciously stopping people having a happy and full life for generations, creating a social loathing towards affluent people. This only makes the world a worse place to live. Imagine if every one was well off, we could all fly to Rio for a coffee !! Seriously though, this makes the Catholic church and its hierachy a bunch of hypocrites as it is well known that they are one of the wealthiest organisations in the world ever.

I then also started to get the various bits needed to canoe safely, including a buoyency aid, paddles, various pumps and dry bags to keep my stuff dry.
Before I can go on the rivers and lakes George sugguested that I try a pool session to try out the kayak, this sounded like a good idea and so waited for the next session.
Unfortunately I missed my first scheduled session as my knee again decided again to play up and gave way a few days before.  But finally on last Saturday myself and my kayak got to go on the water.
I was really nervous at first, but after a few minutes I was helped into the kayak and started trying to paddle the boat around the pool.   At first I had a hard time getting the kayak to go straight, but soon I started to get the knack and got more confident with my paddleing.
For the next 2 hours I had a lot of fun learning how to control the boat and finding out how to get in and out whilst in the water, as well as getting a lot of advice from George and the other people in the group.
A few of the more experienced kayakers asked how stable my kayak was, and then for about 30mins a few of them tried very hard to get the boat to roll.
The end result was that they found my boat to be a lot of fun and very hard to capsize / roll which is what I really wanted.
I now hope in the next few weeks to go onto one of the clubs local rivers and try it out for real. I am also hoping to take along a few of my waterproof cameras so hopefully I will soon be able to take some interesting photos from the river.

I never saw Red Auerbach coach a game. Not in person, not on TV, not in some creepy, sweat-soaked dream.
His days on the Boston sideline were a little before my time, and so I have no firsthand knowledge of Auerbach’s impact once the basketball was thrown in the air. I couldn’t tell you if his in-game adjustments were brilliant or if his sideline temperament was beyond compare.
All of which serves as my official disclaimer. A way of acknowledging there are details and nuances of which I have no firsthand knowledge. So, having admitted that, I will move on to the point of this column:
Phil Jackson is the greatest coach in NBA history.
And pardon me while I duck.
I have a feeling this is not a popular opinion. Fans tend to be more comfortable with coaches who are gruff and stay up all night watching video and drawing plays on grease boards. Smug hipsters like Jackson just don’t fit the mold.
I also understand there is a tendency for people to protect the icons of their younger days. Trust me, I do it all the time. Just the other morning I got in a shoving match with my 5-year-old over the artistic merits of the original Scooby Doo. I say the show jumped the shark when Fred stopped wearing an ascot. The little brat disagrees.
At any rate, I lean toward Jackson over Auerbach because of circumstances and eras. I think Jackson’s 10 titles trump Auerbach’s nine championships, and it’s not simply a question of mathematics.
It has to do with degree of difficulty. And changes in the game. And pressures in the modern era. For the interest of brevity, I will narrow the factors down to three categories.
No. 1: Jackson won his titles in an era of free agency and salary caps. It is much harder to keep a great team together today than it was for Auerbach and the Celtics in the 1950s and 60s.
This means Jackson had to contend and adapt to far more turnover than coaches of earlier eras.
Auerbach had four players (Tom Heinsohn, K.C. Jones, Sam Jones and Bill Russell) play for eight of his nine championship teams. Frank Ramsey played on seven of those teams, and Bob Cousy played on six.
Do you know how many of the same players were around for Jackson’s ninth and 10th titles?
Two.
No. 2: The NBA has expanded greatly in the last 30 years. That means more competition in the regular season, and more layers in the postseason. When Auerbach won his first title in 1957, the NBA was an eight-team league.
That year, the Celtics won the NBA Finals in seven games. They beat a St. Louis team that was 34-38 in the regular season. Two years later, the Celtics faced a 35-37 team in the Eastern Division finals, and a 33-39 team in the NBA Finals.
Not quite Frazier-Ali, eh?
No. 3: Jackson won six titles with the Bulls and four with the Lakers. Ninety-nine percent of the NBA’s coaches go entire careers without winning four championships. Jackson has done it with two different franchises.
(The only coach in one of the four major professional sports who comes close to this achievement is the NHL’s Scotty Bowman, who won five Stanley Cups with Montreal, three with Detroit and one with Pittsburgh.)
Now this is probably the point in the conversation where critics will throw up their hands and say the only reason Jackson has won so many rings is because he has been surrounded by great players. Really? Do you think?
Of course Jackson has had great players. It’s pretty hard to win one title without great players, let alone 10. Kind of like saying Casey Stengel had great players on the Yankees and Francis Ford Coppola lucked out with those Brando, Pacino, DeNiro and Duvall guys in the Godfather Trilogy. So, yes, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant have had a lot more to do with Jackson’s success than his triangle offense.
But here’s a little secret:
Auerbach had great players, too. According to the Hall of Fame, he had more of them than Jackson.
During the course of his nine titles in 10 years, Auerbach had 11 Hall of Fame players on his rosters. The fewest he had at any one time was four in 1966. The most was eight in 1963. Eight! That means he had three Hall of Famers hanging around the bench. Do you know who the third guy off the bench was in Chicago in 1991? Yeah, neither do I.
(For accuracy’s sake, I went back and checked. The eighth guy in Chicago’s rotation was a 30-year-old forward named Cliff Levingston. I’m guessing the Hall of Fame is not looking for his phone number.)
Hey, I’m not trying to slam Auerbach here. He is obviously a legend. He was ridiculously successful and, by most accounts, was a basketball genius. It wouldn’t surprise me if his Xs and Os were in an alphabet beyond Jackson’s.
But coaching is not simply drawing up plays and calling for substitutions. It involves setting standards, and creating an atmosphere. It requires the deft handling of personalities and knowing how to push buttons for different individuals.
Jackson may not be an innovator, but he is a master when it comes to handling a roster and motivating players.
In my book, the best ever.

Would you be interested in understanding what keywords Google think are the most related to your search query? Would you like the results to be updated all the time? How about getting hold of the information for free?
And in addition what about if I told you that you could get all the info using nothing but a browser and a standard Google search?
At least a little bit interested? Then continue reading.
Firstly lets start with the basics and spend a moment discussing relevance, as this term is at the very core of Googles search engine results.
Google wants to provide the person searching with extremely accurate and relevant results possible. Google know that if they are unable to provide this info, its likely that users will stop using their services altogether, and no users means no Adwords revenues which is their primary source of income!
For a prime example of a search engine losing market share, spare a thought for AltaVista? In its time it was the most popular search engine, and almost overnight (not quite) lost the crown to Google because they lost the plot with relevance.
I dont think there is such a thing as search engine loyalty (at least not for the non Internet Marketing search engine user). If a better solution arrives, the everyday people will just start using that search engine.
Trust me when I say Google are very conscious of this, and put enormous thought and manpower into making sure that when you search for something, the results returned are very related to your search term.
They have to keep the everyday user happy so that they use Google all the time.
Shred Internet Marketers have, of course located methods to Google in previous years, so that their own web pages come up in place of what should be the most relevant results, and such tricks are still used in modern times.
Usually these black hat techniques are located by Google who is getting smarter at locating these types of hacks.
Google seems to get it right most of the time, and certainly more than the other major search engines at this point in time.
Ok so given that Google is now returning the most relevant results and has the largest user base compared to any other search engine, and that its clear that their primary goal is info relevance to their searchers, doesnt it make sense to go to their search results and be using this information more when conducting keyword research?
For example lets say your searching for the keyword phrase web traffic
When I entered that search term into google, I got a list of current pages that Google tell us are the most relevance to that search term (along with a host of ads).
But in additional to this information at the bottom of the page they also provide (and here is the key).
Searches RELATED to: increase site traffic (Their words).
Hmm interesting a list of keywords that Google think are relevant to my search.
Google actually display to you the keywords that they deem to be the most relevant to your search phrase.
If you do some research about this, there is some speculation on how google decide on what search terms are displayed, but no matter what you think I think its certainly worth looking at, isnt it?
In my testing I found the keywords it came back with seemed to be terms heavily searched on.
In the case of web traffic, the search terms I got back were
increase web traffic free web traffic buy web traffic google web traffic web traffic report web traffic generator web traffic monitoring measure web traffic
They all seem pretty related to my original search.
And you can drill down by clicking on a phrase to get relevant keywords to that search term. For example I could have selected increase web traffic and received a list of related phrases that relate to that term.
This is getting interesting. Before you pass on this method compared to using your favorite keyword tool, Its my suggestion consider the following.
1) The information from these searches are directly from Googles Server, so the data has not been corrupted in any way.
Many keyword research tools do not use information from Google at all (Wordtracker) or combine information from multiple sources. Here we have information direct from the source!
2) The information returned from Google is of course very up to date, unlike a lot of other keyword research information that can be months out of date.
I am not saying that you abandon all other keyword tools in favor of this method, but I do recommend you check it out. With all the latest whiz bang all conquering, overly hyped software tools that seemingly gets released everyday, sometimes it pays to take a step back and go back to just using a very simple method like searching in Google!
In my case, I actually use this method in conjunction with other keyword tools, and get the best out of both worlds. My two favorite keyword research tools currently are Nichebot and Market Samurai (google them).
I find the best use of this method is when searching new niches, or when trying to establish the viability of getting into a particular market.
One final thing to note is that unfortunately not all keywords are supported. Sometimes there are no related searches are provided for a given keyword, but given that its free Im happy to overlook that oversight.
And sometimes I have to say the terms returned seem a little weird. But this seems to be in more unusual niches that perhaps Google have not collected enough information for (my speculation).
Get out there and have a look at the related search function in Google. The search terms returned might end up being very useful.
